"Match Made in Heaven Returns" to End This Week, Renewal Still Uncertain

With its future still up in the air, MBC Every1’s celebrity matchmaking show “Match Made in Heaven Returns” is set to wrap up its first season this week.

A representative of MBC Every1 revealed on May 19, “‘Match Made in Heaven Returns’ will end after the initially planned 10 episodes. The final episode will air on May 22.”

In regards to renewal, the source commented, “It is still uncertain whether it will be renewed for season two or not. We have yet to decide between a new season [of ‘Match Made in Heaven Returns’] and launching a new love variety show.”

Inspired by “Match Made in Heaven” that was a big hit in the early 2000s, “Match Made in Heaven Returns” helps celebrities find their ‘match’ through entertaining quizzes and games.
