Lee Seung Gi Pays Children's Hospital Fees

Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi has made a donation to ease the financial burden of the families of sick children.

When it was recently discovered that he planned to hold a concert at Severance Hospital in Seoul on May 21 for patients and their families, word also spread that he had paid off some of the hospital fees for the young patients there.

It all started when Lee Seung Gi was visiting the hospital regularly to see someone from his agency, who was a patient there at the time. He met some of the sick children there while he visited.

“Lee Seung Gi listened to the young patients who are suffering and he expressed his desire to support them,” says a representative from his agency to Osen. “He often makes such donations, so all this came about very naturally.”

He will be joined at the May 21 concert by his mentor and fellow label mate Lee Sun Hee. The agency representative states that Lee Seung Gi and Lee Sun Hee hadn’t intended to publicly announce that they were holding the concert.
