Go Soo Files Lawsuit against a Modeling Agency for Embezzlement

Actor Go Soo has filed a lawsuit against a model agency, claiming that his management company didn’t receive the fees for an advertisement shoot.

An associate from Go Soo’s management company BH Entertainment said to TV Report on May 21, “The agency embezzled the advertisement fees in the middle.” They also clarified, “The lawsuit wasn’t filed by Go Soo directly but by the company. The recent investigations were also done by the company.”

According to Seoul Gangnam Police on May 21, Go Soo filed a lawsuit last July, claiming that the model agency known only as “S” embezzled 170,000,000 KRW (~$170,000 USD). He claimed, “I signed a contract with model agency ‘S’ in 2012 and did a commercial shoot, but I did not receive the promised 180,000,000 KRW.”

It was also revealed that Go Soo has also been involved in a lawsuit before this with an advertisement company known as ‘K,’ but he lost the first trial and paid twice the modeling fees as penalty.

Meanwhile, the police has finished investigations on both Go Soo and modeling agency ‘S’ and is now investigating their relationship.
