"Producer" Continues to Rise in Ratings

Despite initial concern about mixed reviews from critics, an increasing number of viewers in Korea are tuning in to watch KBS‘s latest drama “Producer.”

According to Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode of the show was watched by 11 percent of viewers across Korea, which is the highest rating for the show so far. It’s also a 0.8 percent jump from the third episode’s 10.2 percent rating!

The show was highly anticipated before its first episode aired because of its unique premise and top star cast, which includes beloved actors Kim Soo Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, IU, and Cha Tae Hyun. Although there was some criticism over the slow pace of the show’s first episodes, it seems that the show is becoming increasingly popular after a directorial switch in the third episode.
