Kim Jae Dong Reveals Wise Advice He Received from Yoo Jae Suk

Yoo Jae Suk is known for his support of fellow comedians, and Kim Jae Dong revealed his own uplifting experience.

On the episode of JTBC’s “Talk to You” aired on May 24, the conversation theme is “choices.”

During the show, one of the audience members confesses that she quit her job and is currently studying with her husband to pursue what she really enjoys because life is too long to compromise for anything else. Though both of them have no income, the husband respects his wife’s dreams.

“I had a similar experience before. I was contemplating whether or not I should continue my life as an entertainer. During that time, a close friend gave me some wise advice,” Kim Jae Dong said. “I won’t say who it is. I don’t want him to be perceived as some kind of saint.”

However, the producers of the show display Yoo Jae Suk’s silhouette on the screen, hinting that he is the one who gave helped Kim Jae Dong out.

“My friend said, ‘There is always a reason behind your desires. It’s important to listen [to your desires]. Although I’d like for you to continue, if you truly don’t want to do it, all you have to do is quit.’ When I heard those words, ironically I felt that I should work even harder on my programs.”

He then says, “I think my talk has become a bit long, it’s just that your husband is admirable,” and jokes, alluding to his current single status, “I’d just like to tell everyone that I can also become that kind of husband.”
