Child Actor Park Ji Bin Enlists in the Military Today

With the great news of actor Song Joong Ki’s discharge comes the sad news of child actor Park Ji Bin’s enlistment in the military today.

Park Ji Bin, now 20 years old (born March 14, 1995), has officially enlisted as an active duty soldier today, May 26.

While the actor was originally preparing to enlist last year, he was met with the unexpected passing of his father in June, causing his plans of enlistment to be pushed back.

After completing his contract with agency KeyEast last year, and recently seeing his sister off in marriage, Park Ji Bin has slowly been making preparations to begin his nearly two-year service in the army.

The actor has expressed his desire to complete his military service earlier than most other celebrities, before returning to promote as an actor once again.
