Roy Kim Wins ‘Favorite Foreign Artist’ at 2015 HITO Music Awards in Taiwan

Singer Roy Kim took home the ‘Favorite Foreign Artist’ award at a music awards show that recently took place in Taiwan.

On May 31, Roy Kim was in attendance at the ‘2015 HITO Music Awards,’ which opened up at the Taipei Arena to an audience of about 12,000 people.

The singer was presented with the ‘Hit FM Favorite Foreign Artist’ award, which is a popularity award selected by Hit FM. It is said that Roy Kim was chosen for the title, as many of his songs, including “Spring Spring Spring,” “Home,” and “Pinocchio” became huge hits in Taiwan.

After receiving the award, Roy Kim expressed his thanks, saying, “I’m very happy to win such a great award this year. Thank you to all of the Taiwan fans.”

During the awards ceremony, Roy Kim also took the stage for a collaboration performance alongside one of Taiwan’s greatest singer-songwriters, William Wei.
