New Makeover Show

Actress Lee Seung Yeon and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk recently hosted the first episode of JTBC‘s new show “White Swan.”

Prior, the MCs cleared the objective of the show, saying, “Although this show makes contestants go through plastic surgery, we are not aiming to completely erase [the contestant’s looks]. The main focus of ‘White Swan’ is to encourage the contestants to find their own sense of beauty by healing their inner and outer scars made by having facial complexes.”

They continued, “We will approach the contestants as close friends, not as celebrities.”

Leeteuk especially wanted to help the currently-single contestants, saying, “I’ll set up a blind date for the contestants. Perhaps I can be their one-day boyfriend,” determined to bring smiles back to the contestants’ faces.

According to the production crew, “‘White Swan’ is different than other makeover shows in that it helps the contestants step into and get settled in society. Anyone can participate in this show, no matter what their age, class, or ethnicity is, making this show a hot topic among the domestic and overseas audience.”

This show aired its first episode on June 1, and will continue to air every Monday at 12:30 a.m. KST.
