Shin Se Kyung Confirmed for Upcoming SBS Drama

On June 2, Shin Se Kyung’s agency Namoo Actors announced, “Shin Se Kyung has been selected as the female lead for ‘Six Flying Dragons.’ She received a love call from the producers since the beginning.”

Her character is kind-hearted, persevering, and Lee Bang Won’s romantic interest. Currently, Yoo Ah In has yet to confirm his casting for the role of Lee Bang Won.

The actress previously worked with Yoo Ah In in the 2012 drama “Fashion King.” Having received a lot of love from her role in SBS’s “The Girl Who Sees Smells,” many are interested in how she will act in “Six Flying Dragons.”

“Six Flying Dragons” is a story that centers on Lee Bang Won, who becomes the third king of the Joseon Dynasty. The historical drama will feature six important characters in various factions surrounding the king. It will include the dreams and ambitions of the first king of the Joseon Dynasty, Yi Seong-gye, and important politician and advisor Jeong Do-jeon. The writers of “Tree with Deep Roots” Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon are collaborating again for this project. The drama is scheduled to air its first episode in September.
