Ryu Seung Ryong and Chun Woo Hee Open up About Acting as Lovers Despite Age Gap

Ryu Seung Ryong and Chun Woo Hee make a great couple despite their age difference, and the two opened up what it was like to act as lovers in their upcoming movie.

On June 9, the production presentation for the movie “Guest” was held. During the event, Ryu Seung Ryong  said, “I’m sorry that Chun Woo Hee’s first melodrama partner is me,” making the entire crowd laugh out at his witty comment.

“Thanks to the lovely Chun Woo Hee, I was able to get into the role much effort,” he said. “Though I have always dreamt of passionate melodramas, this is more of a enlightening one that even elementary students can watch. Though I asked the director to just film a few feisty scenes, even if they would be cut out later on, he never allowed it.”

“The age gap between Ryu Seung Ryong and me is 17 years. I had no idea,” Chun Woo Hee said. “Though I was worried at first, I didn’t feel awkward at all while acting with him.”

Ryu Seung Ryong plays the role of Woo Ryong, the spinoff character of the Pied Pier of Hamelin. Both a nomad musician and devoted father, he promises to exterminate the rat population in a town in exchange for his sickly son’s treatment.

Chun Woo Hee will be playing the role of Mi Sook, the young widow of the town who pretends to be a shaman so she isn’t kicked out.
