Lee Joon Talks About His Friendship with CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and ZE:A’s Siwan

Lee Joon, who began his career as an actor before debuting as a singer, has returned to acting once again. With a passion for acting, he auditioned for a role in the movie “Ninja Assassin,” which marked his entrance into the industry. Since then, he has actively taken on roles in acting, on stage, as well as in variety over the years.

During a recent interview with X Sports News, Lee Joon opened up about returning to acting, as well as his close friendships with other idol-actors.

Lee Joon revealed his thoughts on his own acting, explaining that being satisfied by your own acting will lead to losing your roots, which is why he doesn’t want to overrate himself. He shared, “I am standing at the starting point of acting, and I think I will still [be in this position] even when I turn 40. There is no end to acting because it is a constant battle against yourself. I think I will become awful the moment I feel satisfied by my acting.”

He also discussed his friendships with other idol-actors, including CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and ZE:A’s Im Siwan: “Because I’ve been close with Yong Hwa since before debut, we don’t talk about work when we actually meet up. With Siwan on the other hand, we talk endlessly about acting. We have no secrets between each other and he’s a friend that I can talk about anything with.”

When asked to describe each of their strongest points, Lee Joon humbly stated, “Those two have always done really well. In contrast, I’m at the stage where I’m still discovering my potential.”
