Yoo Jae Suk's Life Story to Be Released as Comic Book for Children

A biography of Korea’s favorite MC Yoo Jae Suk will be released on June 16!

According to the publisher Studio Dasan, the book is part of a series of biographies that are presented in the form of comic books for children. Previous books in the series have told the life stories of other inspirational celebrities such as figure skater Kim Yuna, soccer player Park Ji Sung, and baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin.

Studio Dasan explains that they choose people that children like as the subjects for their books, and that they are often popular Korean wave stars or athletes. “In the case of Yoo Jae Suk,” they say, “He’s been successful in his field over a long period of time, and he’s lived an exemplary life, considering his personal discipline and good deeds.”

The publisher reminds fans that the book will not be an autobiography written by Yoo Jae Suk himself, and will not include interviews with the star. They add, “We hope that the story of Yoo Jae Suk’s childhood and development will be a good influence on children.”
