Music Bank to Hold Public Recording Despite MERS Scare

According to KBS, “Music Bank” will hold a live broadcast on June 19, unlike other music programs that held private recordings due to the spreading of MERS.

KBS stated, “We are very cautious of MERS. We are still going to have a public recording as planned.”

Last week, on June 14, “Inkigayo” held a private recording of the show and they will doing the same for the upcoming show on June 21. The staff of “Inkigayo” stated, “The recording on June 21 will be private, and we will not count live text votes, either. Like we did for the June 14 episode, the first place winner will be announced the day after the show.”

Meanwhile, some shows, concerts, and events have been postponed or cancelled due to the MERS situation.
