Lee Ki Chan Appears With Bae Doona in Wachowskis' Drama

Appearing as a guest along with Lee Soo Young on the June 18 broadcast of MBC FM4U program “Park Kyung Lim’s 2 O’Clock Date,” singer Lee Ki Chan discusses his role in new American drama “Sense8.”

*Spoiler alert

“There’s a reason you came here after two weeks. You’ve just gotten back from your promotion. Isn’t it an American drama?” DJ Park Kyung Lim asks. “That’s right. I’m playing the younger brother of Bae Doona, who introduces the viewer to Seoul, in American drama ‘Sense8,’” Lee Ki Chan replies.

“Did you audition?” Park Kyung Lim then asks. “I did. I acted in English. I play a bad character. I’m a conniving guy that stabs Bae Doona in the back,” Lee Ki Chan replies.

“Sense8,” a Netflix series by “The Matrix” creators the Wachowski siblings, is a science-fiction drama that tells the story of eight people from different languages and cultures who are connected through telepathy. The show was filmed in eight different countries and nine cities, including Seoul, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Berlin, Mexico City, Nairobi, Mumbai, and Reykjavik.
