Film Actress Jin Do Hee Passes Away From Cancer at Age 66

One of Korea’s most famous film actresses of the 1970s, Jin Do Hee, has passed away due to pancreatic cancer at the age of 66.

Jin Do Hee is known for starring in several films in the early 1970s. Her debut film was “Zip Up,” which was directed in 1972 by Park No Shik. She went on to star in many other films, such as “Wolves, “The Big Chase,” and “The Guests Who Arrived on Sunday.” She received the award for best newcomer at the 10th Baeksang Arts Awards in 1974 for her role in the film “Lovers of Seoul.”

She was sometimes confused for the erotic film actress of the same name who was active in the 1980s. After ending her career in the entertainment industry, she moved to the United States, where she worked in business and wrote poetry.
