Netizens Suspect ‘Romantic Assassin’ to Be a Girl Group Member on “King of Mask Singer”

Following the broadcast of MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” that aired on June 28, viewers and netizens have begun to express great interest and curiosity as to the identity of the contestant who goes by the name of ‘Take My Sword! Romantic Assassin.’

On the latest episode of the show, ‘Madam Is Shopping’ went head to head with ‘Romantic Assassin’ as the fourth and final pair of the first round, during which they showcased their powerful voices to sing Han Young Ae’s “Is Anyone There.”

Both singers were praised for their unique voices and amazing vocal strength by the celebrity judge panel, which made it difficult for the voters to make a decision. However, in the end, ‘Romantic Assassin’ beat out ‘Madam’ and moved on to the next round. ‘Madam’s’ identity was revealed to be actress Moon Hee Kyung, surprising the entire studio.

After watching the broadcast, it is said that netizens are suspecting ‘Romantic Assassin’ to be the member of a girl group—SPICA’s Kim Boa—due to her distinct husky voice.
