Chinese "Infinity Challenge" Set to Premiere in October

The Chinese remake of popular MBC variety program “Infinity Challenge” has been given a premiere date.

The Chinese version of “Infinity Challenge” will premiere on China’s CCTV1 on October 25.

MBC announced on June 30, “We have finally closed our deal with CCTV, and the program will start airing nationally in October.”

They further continued, “We are well aware of CCTV’s influence in China. ‘Infinity Challenge’ is a program about challenge and never giving up for your dreams. With CCTV, we are hoping that it will be reborn into something that appeals to the Chinese public.”

There has been numerous rumors of fake adaptations being planned by other networks. MBC has stated that they will be taking legal actions against these companies who are falsely advertising their programs as an “Infinity Challenge” adaptation.

CCTV’s “Infinity Challenge” remake will comprise of 12 episodes. It will premiere on October 25.
