f(x)'s Victoria to Start Filming "My Best Friend's Wedding" Remake in London

f(x) member Victoria will soon be heading to London to begin filming the new Chinese remake of the 1997 Hollywood hit “My Best Friend’s Wedding.”

The original stars Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, Cameron Diaz, and Rupert Everett. It tells the story of a woman who only realizes she’s in love with her best friend when he announces his engagement to another woman, and she then sets out to try to break off his wedding.

The Chinese remake will feature actors Shu Qi, Feng Shaofeng, Victoria, and Ye Qing, and will be directed by Alexi Tan.

It has been reported that Victoria will be jetting off to London in the next couple weeks, as filming begins in London in mid July. The cast will later be shooting on location in Italy and Beijing. The romantic comedy is expected to be released on Valentine’s Day in 2016.
