SISTAR’s Dasom in Talks to Star in Upcoming KBS Drama
It has been reported that SISTAR member Dasom is currently in talks to star in a brand new Monday-Tuesday drama on KBS entitled “Taming the Mother-in-Law” (tentative English title).
On July 6, a representative of her agency, Starship Entertainment, revealed, “Dasom is in the middle of positively looking over the casting offer for ‘Taming the Mother-in-Law.’ However, nothing has been decided.”
A representative of KBS also shared, “We are currently in discussion for Dasom’s casting. It has not been confirmed yet.”
The SISTAR member is said to be in talks for the role of Oh In Young, a member of a four-member girl group. The drama tells the story of idol star In Young, who dreams of making a comeback, and decides to participate in a ‘daughter-in-law experience’ variety program. She then goes head-to-head against her virtual mother-in-law, Yang Choon Ja.
The upcoming drama is expected to run for 12 episodes and is set to begin airing on August 17.
