"Birth of a Great Star 2" Runner-Up Sophia Pae to Debut in July

It has recently been revealed that Sophia Pae (also known as Su Jung Pae), the runner-up on “Birth of a Great Star 2,” will make her formal debut as a singer in July. Her debut song will be a ballad song that will show off her unique singing abilities. Filming for her music video was completed in Budapest, Hungary.

The singer gained great interest as a contestant on the audition program in 2012. Having been born in England and graduated from a top university, she received a lot of attention for her many talents. In order to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, she quit her career as an accountant and has continued to work hard to become a solo artist ever since.

After the end of “Birth of a Great Star 2,” Sophia Pae briefly returned to England before coming back to Korea. She has been working as a part of Iconic Sounds’ producing team and has written many songs for various singers. Some of her work includes The Ark’s “The Light,” miss A’s “Stuck,” Eric Nam’s “Melt My Heart,” Kim Bo Kyung’s “Memories,” and more.
