Jinusean's Sean Donated Over 3 Billion Won Since Marriage

Jinusean’s Sean recently appeared on KBS’ “Our Neighborhood Sports” and reportedly donated 10 million won (approx. 8,800 USD) to Seungil Hope Foundation after cycling 1000 kilometers on his own.

He donated the appearance fee he got from “Our Neighborhood Sports” and the prize money he received when he participated in Korea’s largest cycling race “Tour de Korea” to help fund for ALS-care hospitals.

Sean met former basketball coach Park Seung Il, who now suffers from ALS, in 2009 and began donating to help construct ALS-care hospitals in the country. He has donated a total of 350 million won (approx. 300,000 USD) to help with ALS and has also performed six times on Seungil Hope Foundation’s Hope Concert.

The singer commented, “Hopefully people became more aware of ALS through the Ice Bucket Challenge, and I also hope that the construction of ALS-care hospitals starts as soon as possible.”

Sean married actress Jung Hye Young in 2004 and has donated a total of 3.8 billion won (approx. 3 million USD) so far to help those in need.
