Lee Young Ae to Judge for Miss Korea 2015 Contest

Actress Lee Young Ae has been announced as one of the judges for the upcoming Miss Korea 2015 contest.

According to reports on July 9, Lee Young Ae will be participating in the annual contest that will be held on July 10.

After a series of shaky years, the Miss Korea contest seems determined to turn things around. Representative Jang Seo Ho from the main sponsor Hanjoo Media Network told the media earlier that they have decided 2015 will be the year of regaining self-esteem for the contest. “We discussed what the public expects from ‘Miss Korea,'” adding, “we want to focus on the traditional roots of the contest, but also with the sentimentality of the new generation.”

The Miss Korea contest is in its 59th year this year. It has produced stars like Honey Lee, Go Hyun Jung, and Kim Sarang.
