"Running Man" Producers Praise Yoo Jae Suk's Leadership Qualities

Producer Jo Hyo Jin, in charge of the popular variety show “Running Man,” recently sat down with news outlet Star News and opened up about Yoo Jae Suk and his important role in the show.

“Yoo Jae Suk is doing a great job leading ‘Running Man.’ There is a limit to how close producers and celebrities can be with one another, but Yoo Jae Suk has a great relationship with the cast and crew,” the producer explains.

He continues, “Yoo Jae Suk takes care of ‘Running Man’ members’ personal lives, too. During overseas fan-meetings or events that require teamwork, Yoo Jae Suk gathers all the cast members and tells them, ‘We need to take this seriously.’ He does a great job as a leader. Yoo Jae Suk’s leadership may come off as annoying to some members from time to time but it’s a very good characteristic to have.”

Jo Hyo Jin also mentions, “I’ve kept an eye on Yoo Jae Suk ever since his ‘X-Man‘ days 13 years ago. Even today Yoo Jae Suk tells me, ‘I might be caught up in a meeting with a producer, so I might not have time to eat.’ Even though he got to the top after such a long period of having no fame, he still thinks that his popularity is going to disappear one day. That’s why he values being humble and hardworking in order to not let that happen.”

Producer Im Hyung Taek, another producer of “Running Man,” reveals, “Now the ‘Running Man’ members go to Yoo Jae Suk on their own to consult about an event or meeting. They don’t complain about filming [Running Man] episodes and they talk it over with Yoo Jae Suk. He is such a strong person.”

He further suggests, “The reason why ‘Infinity Challenge‘ is receiving so much love may also be because of Yoo Jae Suk’s strength.”
