"Sado" Releases Epic Trailer and Poster Starring Yoo Ah In and Song Kang Ho

The trailer for upcoming historical film “Sado” (also known as “The Throne“) starring Song Kang Ho and Yoo Ah In has been released.

In the movie, Song Kang Ho portrays King Yeongjo, a determined man who has climbed his way up to become the King of the Joseon dynasty. Yoo Ah In plays his son Crown Prince Sado whom Kim Yeonjo himself sentences to death by starvation. Basically, it’s not an exaggeration when the trailer touts the story as ‘The Most Tragic Family History.”

Meanwhile, “Sado” will be helmed by director Lee Joon Ik who is best known for his critically acclaimed hit “King and the Clown.” “Sado” is slated to open in theaters this year in September.
