Lee Seung Gi Confirmed to Join Kang Ho Dong and PD Na Young Suk in New Variety Show

It was announced on July 16 that Kang Ho Dong and PD Na Young Suk are planning to make a new show that might reunite some of the cast of the golden age of “1 Night 2 Days,” but no other cast members had been confirmed at the time.

However, fans now have even more cause to be excited because it’s been confirmed that Lee Seung Gi will be appearing in the show!

According to CJ E&M, there are currently discussions being held about the possibility of fellow former “1 Night 2 Days” members Lee Soo Geun and Eun Ji Won joining the cast as well.

Some additional details about the show have also been revealed. A member of the production team says that they met with Lee Seung Gi and Kang Ho Dong and had long conversations about the new format they wanted to try and challenges they wanted to take on.

They say, “We came to the agreement that the show will not be on television but will instead be broadcast over the Internet.”

In terms of the show’s content, all that has been announced so far is that it will be taking place outdoors. The production team member also states, “There will be no additions to the cast beyond four members.”
