Kim Go Eun Declines Female Lead Role in tvN Drama "Cheese in the Trap"

It has been revealed that actress Kim Go Eun also declined the offer for the female lead of tvN‘s new drama “Cheese in the Trap.”

On July 18, a media outlet reported that there was a high possibility that Kim Go Eun would appear in tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Cheese in the Trap” as the female lead. At this, tvN responded, “The auditions are currently in progress,” and added that “Kim Go Eun and a number of other actresses have been suggested for the female lead and we will be making a decision soon.” They also said, “Nothing has been decided as of yet.”

On July 18, however, Kim Go Eun’s agency said, “It is true that she was offered a role in ‘Cheese in the Trap,’ and it was one of the works that we were examining.” However, they relayed, “It was a good original work so we gave it a lot of thought, but in the end, we decided to decline the offer.”

Meanwhile, the male lead, Yoo Jeong, is confirmed to be Park Hae Jin. The work tells a love story between Hong Seol, the female lead, and her boyfriend and university senior Yoo Jeong.

The drama is set to air around the middle of October.
