Updated: Super Junior Leeteuk Makes Angry Tweet at Google For Offensive Profile Picture
Super Junior‘s Leeteuk had some words for Google late at night on July 20, when he saw that a search of his name on the search engine brought up with his profile a photo of himself at the funeral of his father and his grandparents, who passed away in January of 2014. When he asked for a photo change, it simply changed to another photo, also from the funeral.
On his Twitter, the group leader posted, “Google, this is too much. I held it in and I held it in before I finally made the request [for a profile pic change] and this is how it changes.. Do you like posting a photo of someone else’s pain like that? What’s different from the photo that was there before? I have a screen capture of what it was before. I want to know how I can block a portal site’s tyranny.”
“I want to ask if I’m wrong here.. Putting that up as a profile picture on a portal site, I want to ask.. what were they thinking? Did I do something wrong?..”
As of 11:45 a.m. (KST), the profile picture has yet to change.
Updated July 22, 2015:
The photo for Leeteuk’s profile on Google Korea has been changed.
