Yang Hyun Suk Shows Full Support of Tablo's Independent Label

YG Entertainment‘s Yang Hyun Suk showed his support for his artist Tablo‘s independent label, HIGHGRND.

On July 22, during a phone call with media outlet OSEN, Yang Hyun Suk said, “I can’t interfere with [Tablo’s work] and I don’t have the time to do so anyway. Since I helped him get started, I have to trust in him 100% and support everything he chooses to do. The free and unique characteristics of the artists are the biggest strengths of independent labels. The respect for this is why HIGHGRND was created.”

Another associate from YG also told the media, “YG employees consider HIGHGRND as a completely separate company. They have already employed experienced employees and have finished preparations.”

HIGHGRND recently recruited indie band Hyukoh, whose popularity rocketed with their appearance on “Infinity Challenge.”
