INFINITE’s Hoya Says They Don’t Get Recognized in Public
INFINITE will be appearing as guests on the upcoming episode of KBS’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.” The group finished filming for the show on July 21 to promote their latest album “Reality.”
MC Yoo Hee Yeol comments on how INFINITE has been busy with individual activities including acting in dramas, variety shows, and unit groups. He asks the group how they feel about coming together as a group in a long while. Hoya replies, “It’s strange for us when we see each other on TV and then in person. After seeing Sungjong, I even asked, ‘Isn’t he the kid on ‘Real Men?'” His answer results in many laughs.
Then Yoo Hee Yeol asks, “Do the various individual promotions help you as a team?” to which Dongwoo comments, “I think there is a synergy effect when members take what they have learned from individual activities and unite as a group.” His thoughtful answer prompts Yoo Hee Yeol to say, “You are so eloquent. I thought you were poet Son Seok Hee.”
Noting that the group debuted five years ago, Yoo Hee Yeol asks if the group has any regrets. Hoya confesses, “In the past our manager hyung didn’t let us go outside, not even to a convenience store, for fear of being caught by the paparazzi. For four years we stayed pretty hidden. But [we] actually don’t get recognized much when [we] do go out.”
Meanwhile, INFINITE is currently busy promoting their title track “Bad.” The upcoming episode featuring the group will air on July 24 at 11:55 p.m. KST.
