JYP Entertainment Preparing for Debut of New Boy Band DAY6
It has been revealed that JYP Entertainment is in the middle of preparations for the debut of a new band named DAY6, previously made known under the name 5LIVE.
Although JYP Entertainment has denied reports confirming the upcoming debut of DAY6, following Wonder Girls’ comeback, the agency shared that debut preparations are ongoing and the time frame of their debut has not been set.
On July 31, a representative of the agency told TV Report, “Nothing has been decided about DAY6’s debut yet.”
However, the new six-member boy band recently took part in a performance at a live club located in Hongdae this past July 24, and will also be opening up another performance this coming July 31. About this, the agency rep explained, “They are simply performing in order to build up experience prior to debut.”
