BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang Joke About Their Concerns About Kwanghee on “Infinity Challenge”
On the August 1 episode of “Infinity Challenge,” the music festival teams continue their “emergency conference” to talk about their issues so far and try to settle any disputes.
Each of the members of the “Infinity Challenge” cast has been matched up with a group or solo artist to produce a song for their annual music festival. In this episode, Yoo Jae Suk has sent each of the musicians to a private room to write down their concerns about their partner. But when he reads their notes out loud to the whole group, BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon and Taeyang‘s note about their partner Kwanghee is easily the harshest!
They write, “Kwanghee… is really great. But the day after we meet, our whole bodies ache. It’s good to have a lot of energy, but it’s exhausting for other people.”
They continue, “It’s okay that you can’t sing or dance. We didn’t expect that you could. But it’s not even funny.” Even Kwanghee can’t help but burst out laughing at this! One of them (most likely G-Dragon) then writes, “This is the first time that I’ve done a music festival where I’ve worried about how much I’ll actually appear on television later.”
“We want to turn back time,” they continue, as everyone keeps laughing. “We were too hasty. We didn’t think it through. Taeyang is thinking about resigning. But still, what can you do? It’s not Kwanghee’s fault. It’s been our fault since the beginning.”
Yoo Jae Suk then reads their final line. “This is going to help us mature as people,” they write.
While everyone is still recovering from laughing so much, Yoo Jae Suk is so impressed by how entertaining their letter was that he goes over to shake their hands.
Kwanghee gets a hold of the letter and looks at it in total shock, and the others laugh and say it’s basically a break-up letter. “I feel like I’m being kicked out of the entertainment world!” says Kwanghee.
It’s all in good fun though, and the three explain that there are really no big issues between them in a private interview.
Are you looking forward to seeing what this trio comes up with for the “Infinity Challenge” music festival?
