Kang Ji Young and Goo Hara's Photos Used on Facebook Page Belittling Sewol Ferry Victims
In the wake of DSP Media’s recent declaration of legal action against netizens posting negative comments and rumors about its artists, it has been revealed that photos of Kara’s Goo Hara and former Kara member Kang Ji Young were used on a Facebook page dedicated to belittling the victims of the Sewol Ferry tragedy.
According to various reports, the netizen running the Facebook page in question has previously been the source of outrage on online communities due to posts comparing those lost in the Sewol tragedy to fish cakes, or ridiculing the families of the victims.
Recently, Goo Hara and Kang Ji Young’s photos were used as profile pictures on the page.
As the Facebook page started to make its rounds online via social communities and networks, Kara fans were able to find the original, unedited photos that were used, and expressed their anger, saying that severe punishment needs to be doled out.
