UPDATED: Wonder Girls' Yubin and SISTAR's Hyorin Confirmed for "Unpretty Rapstar 2"
Wonder Girls’ Yubin and SISTAR’s Hyorin have been confirmed to appear on Mnet’s “Unpretty Rapstar 2.”
The pair have also participated in their jacket filming for the show. As the main rapper of Wonder Girls, Yubin is planning on fully displaying her rap talents. Meanwhile, Hyorin is taking this opportunity to show a different side of herself from her vocalist image.
Yubin will be promoting the comeback of Wonder Girls while competing on the hip-hop program.
According to an inside source, the final members for the show have not been confirmed yet. However, individuals who have confirmed their participation in the show have finished their solo jacket filming.
“Unpretty Rapstar” received positive responses after airing their first season earlier this year. It is Korea’s first female rapper survival show. The second season of the show is slated to air this coming September.
UPDATE: After reports confirming the two stars’ appearances were revealed, a representative of the show denied the reports to news outlet OSEN. They stated, “There are no confirmed members. We haven’t filmed yet. ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’ is planned to air in September, so we plan on starting filming during the middle or end of August. Producers will reveal the cast members around that time.”
