BTOB's Yook Sungjae Talks About His Goofy Side and Takes Derpy Photo on "Section TV"

On August 9’s episode of “Section TV,” BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae sits down for an interview about what he’s been up to lately, particularly his recent appearance on the MBC virtual romance show “We Got Married” with Red Velvet‘s Joy.

During the interview, the reporter asks him about his fans’ nickname for him, which is “Yook Jal Ddo,” an abbreviation of “Yook Sungjae, handsome dork.”

“That’s my favorite nickname!” he says with a huge smile. The show then plays some hilarious clips of Yook Sungjae goofing around as he does things like pull funny faces, blow bubbles with his nose, and do crazy dances.

“Doesn’t your agency try to stop you?” asks the interviewer. “In the beginning they did,” he replies with a laugh. “I’d post things on Twitter, and my manager used to sigh and ask me not to do it. But now he’s given up.”

When asked what the most important part of taking a funny selfie is, he replies, “The expression is important of course, but the most important thing is the angle.” He then takes out his phone and shows how he takes ridiculous selfies from below his chin.
