“We Got Married” — Soompi Joins Viki!

Hey Soompiers!

We’re back with a very exciting announcement: Soompi has been acquired by Viki! Yes, you know Viki — the global TV site powered by fans who are passionate about international content. (It’s also where I’m currently watching “The Scholar Who Walks The Night” — highly recommended!) Since Viki is made possible by the passion of their community, it makes sense for Soompi, the original K-pop community site, to join hands with them in this new adventure.

You don’t need to worry about any huge changes coming to the Soompi that you know and love today, as we will continue to bring you the absolute best in Korean pop culture and entertainment through our news and forums. However, K-drama fans should be excited, since now Soompi is one degree closer to all of your favorite shows. In order to bring all of you drama fans a more robust drama offering, we’ll be adding SoompiTV’s content to the Viki library of shows. It’s a win-win for all!
