Kim Tae Hee Working Hard on "Yong Pal" to Prove Herself as Actress

Actress Kim Tae Hee revealed just how hard she is working to perfect her role in “Yong Pal” despite some criticism from netizens.

On August 20, Kim Tae Hee’s rep told news media OSEN, “Kim Tae Hee is trying hard to show a different side of herself than she did in the past. You can say that she is completely absorbed in her new character Han Yeo Jin. She’s trying to let herself go and act as naturally as possible.”

They continued, “She constantly talks with the director and writer on how to improve herself. For example, she spends twice as much time [than normal] preparing a smiling scene.”

They also addressed the various criticisms of her acting, saying, “Honestly, she knows that there are lots of criticism [about her acting] and she’s trying her best to fix her flaws. She hears news through the drama’s staff members and works on fixing them, all the while focusing on studying her script.”

Meanwhile, “Yong Pal” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST.
