Even the top storywriters are heading over to cable channels.

Cable channels happen to be the biggest media trend right now, especially with top star Choi Ji Woo starring in a tvN drama for the firs time in 22 years. Now, story writer No Hee Kyung, who wrote pieces like “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” will be returning to screens through tvN early next year.

According to a media insider on August 21, No Hee Kyung is currently writing a story about women heading into their older years. She has already finished discussing the drama with tvN and is currently adjusting the airing schedule.

No Hee Kyung is known for her passion about sincerity and human emotions and such traits will be evident in how she writes about older women who bear the weight of life on their shoulders.

“No Hee Kyung has a set group of mania followers. Her new piece will be able to target younger generations as well,” the media insider said.

Choi Ji Woo has moved over to a cable channel for the same reason: to target younger generations.

She hopes to gain viewers from their 20s to 40s in “20 Years Old Again,” which will air on August 28, and transform her image.

In the new drama she takes on the role of Ha No Ra, a mom who had a child at 19 and is entering college as a freshman along with her son.
