"Real Men" Producer Says Jessi Is 10 Times Quirkier Than Henry

MBC’s “Real Men” female soldier special has started and while many are curious about each member’s hidden charms, “Real Men” producer Kim Min Jong says rapper Jessi may rise as the star of the show.

During a recent interview, Producer Kim said, “Jessi is ten times quirkier than Henry. I have never seen or met such a bold character in my life. While filming, I was worried that she wouldn’t be able to fit in very well.”

The producer went on to describe the other members as well, saying, “Sayuri is also very peculiar. There were many unique people that came and went during the two and a half years of ‘Real Men,’ but this year’s female members portray more unique personalities than those before. Han Chae Ah has a very man-like personality unlike her outward appearance, and Kim Hyun Sook also has a lot of charisma. Jeon Mi Ra, who is a former athlete, did very well during her training and became the ace.”

Lastly, he complimented all the female soldiers, saying, “All ten members tried their best not to cry and endured their training. No one was left out and everyone completed their training well. All of them have a great sense of perseverance.”

Meanwhile, new episodes of “Real Men” air every Sunday at 4:50 p.m. KST.
