Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon Are Full of Smiles and Tears in Last "We Got Married" Episode

Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon have said their goodbyes on the recent episode of “We Got Married.”

This episode concluded their five-month virtual marriage, which started on March 14.

The two enjoy a nice, sweet date in Jeju Island beneath a red lighthouse. Afterwards, they spend precious time together on a small boat. On this day, Lee Jong Hyun says, “I want to go all the way to Seoul like this,” meaning he doesn’t want to part with Gong Seung Yeon.

A few days later, Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon meet in their newlywed house. When they receive the mission card that says, “Today is the last day of your virtual marriage,” the two start packing their things. Lee Jong Hyun says, “Phew, we won’t have any reason to come to this house now.”

Gong Seung Yeon makes him her last cup of misoot-garu (powder made of mixed grains) drink, which is his favorite. She ends up crying later when she sees that Lee Jong Hyun secretly decorated the previously “scary” room with a bunch of pink rose petals.

In her individual interview, Gong Seung Yeon says, “I was really touched,” and tears up again. She continues, “I thought of ways to make my last day with Lee Jong Hyun look beautiful.”

Lee Jong Hyun addresses the same idea and says, “I didn’t know what to do. The five months went by in a blink of an eye. I guess we had a lot of fun, seeing that the time has flown by.”

Before their departure, Lee Jong Hyun writes heartfelt lyrics and records a song for Gong Seung Yeon titled “Sky Blue Coat.”

Meanwhile actors Kwak Shi Yang and Kim So Yeon will be taking Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon’s spot in the next episode of “We Got Married.”
