Lawyer-Broadcaster Kang Yong Suk Sues 200 Malicious Commenters for Slander

Lawyer and broadcast Kang Yong Suk, who was wrapped up in an affair scandal, will be suing 200 malicious commenters for contempt.

Kang Yong Suk will be filing the lawsuits on September 1. About this, Kang Yong Suk said on August 31 to the local media, “During the month of August, we found about 30,000 malicious comments. Of these, we decided to sue 200 commenters who made rude comments about his family and highly vulgar comments.”

Earlier, Kang Yong Suk was rumored to be having an affair with a famous blogger, “A.” The lawyer strongly refuted the rumors, but “A”‘s husband claimed that the affair tore his family apart, and sued Kang Yong Suk for 100 million KRW (~$85,000 USD) last January. Kang Yong Suk filed a countersuit for defamation.

Meanwhile, Kang Yong Suk stepped down from every program on August 20, explaining that he will be pouring his strength into proving his innocence in court and that he will be returning to his main job as a lawyer.
