Younha to Release a Japanese Album for the First Time in Five Years
Singer Younha will be releasing her first Japanese album in five years.
Her agency C9 Entertainment announced on September 8, “Younha will be releasing her mini album ‘View‘ in Japan this September. This is her first Japanese album in five years since her last album in 2010. With this album, she will try to reclaim her title as the ‘Oricon’s Comet’ that she held when she first debuted in Japan.”
Younha debuted in Japan with her single “Yubikiri” in 2004. She then had great success with her second single “Hokiboshi” released in 2005, reaching the top 10 on the Oricon chart.
With her upcoming album, she will show her songwriting skills as she has penned the title track “View” herself.
The mini album will consist of five songs, including her songs from the “Pinocchio” soundtrack and “Late Night Diner” soundtrack in Japanese version.
