Miryo Talks Hip Hop and Brown Eyed Girls' Plans in Latest Interview With Bnt International

Brown Eyed Girls member and rapper Miryo recently sat down for an interview with media outlet Bnt International.

During the interview, she talked about hip hop, “Show Me the Money,” plans for Brown Eyed Girls, among other things.

When asked if she would be willing to participate in “Show Me the Money” or “Unpretty Rapstar” as a producer she said, “I was the third one to be eliminated on the first season of ‘Show Me the Money.’ It was so embarrassing. If they ask me to join the show again, I’d have to think about it then.” She then added, “But it did help, after I was on ‘Show Me the Money.’ I was active in the hip hop scene since 15 years ago, but back then, there weren’t many female rappers. Of course, there was Yoon Mirae, but other than her, I was the only one, so I had it pretty easy. I was too satisfied with my skills. I didn’t practice much either. But looking at the new female rappers now, who are 10 years younger than me, sometimes I think, ‘was I really any good?'”

During the interview, she also talked about the near future plans for Brown Eyed Girls. When the interviewer asked her where her current interest lay, she answered, “Brown Eyed Girls’ new album,” adding that it will be released in “October or November […] Recording will begin soon.”

Miryo, along with group members JeA and Narsha, recently decided to become free agents after not renewing their contracts with Nega Network.
