GFRIEND's "Me Gustas Tu" Climbs Back Up the Charts After Falling Video Goes Viral

It seems like girl group GFRIEND is being rewarded for their courage and hard work.

On September 5, the rookie girl group attended an event in Gangwon Province and danced to their new song “Me Gustas Tu.” That day, the GFRIEND members slipped and fell multiple times on the wet stage, but got right back up to finish their performance. The crowd chanted, “It’s okay,” to cheer on the girls.

A video of this performance has gotten international attention, with the video breaking three million views on YouTube in a matter of days.

With this new attention, their song is also climbing back up on the charts. Although the song was released back in July, on September 9 at 10 a.m. KST, “Me Gustas Tu” ranked eighth place on Instiz‘s music chart, a huge feat for a rookie group.
