Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee Take Fans Around "Yong Pal" Set in Live Broadcast

On September 11, Joo Won hosted a live broadcast on Naver’s V app and invited his “Yong Pal” co-star Kim Tae Hee!

Joo Won builds up the suspense by reminding viewers that he promised on his last broadcast that he’d invite a special someone to join him for his next show. He then brings on Kim Tae Hee, who laughs and introduces herself as her “Yong Pal” character, Han Yeo Jin. Joo Won says, “She’s very awkward too” as both of them laugh, and Kim Tae Hee replies, “It’s because it’s my first time doing this.” She then grins hugely and thanks fans as she reads all the comments coming over the app in real time.

Kim Tae Hee says, “Thanks to all of you, ‘Yong Pal’ is receiving a lot of love. And we’ll have some good news for you soon.”

As they’re reading the comments, Joo Won says, “She’s pretty, right?”

The pair then decide to take a walk to show off a coffee truck outside which was provided by Kim Tae Hee’s fans for the cast and crew of “Yong Pal.” It’s decorated with photos of the star and even has video screens with clips of her.

Joo Won says they’re soon going to go out for food with the staff. Kim Tae Hee comments, “This is the first time I’ve had a cast and crew dinner in the middle of a drama.”

Things are still a bit awkward though, and Kim Tae Hee laughs and asks Joo Won, “Is this how you usually do your broadcasts?” He cracks up and says, “I just wing it!”

Rather than just wrap up the broadcast since they have nothing else to do, they decide to go try to find their director to introduce to the viewers. They walk around the elaborate set, and are surprised to find it totally empty.

As they leave the set, Kim Tae Hee asks Joo Won, “Doesn’t your arm hurt? Shouldn’t you use a selfie stick?”

“I had one,” he says with a laugh, “but it disappeared.”

They eventually track down some of the crew and introduce them to the viewers. Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee then sign off with big smiles, explaining that they have to go eat dinner with their cast and crew. Lastly, they laugh as they make a heart gesture with their arms and say goodbye.
