Truedy Opens Up About Sounding Similar to Yoon Mi Rae on "Unpretty Rapstar 2"
Truedy, one of the rappers starring on “Unpretty Rapstar 2,” opened up about being told that she sounds like Yoon Mi Rae.
On the September 11 broadcast of Mnet‘s “Unpretty Rapstar 2,” the rappers compete with each other for the first time. During the show, Truedy shows off a vocal color that is very similar to that of the rap superstar, Yoon Mi Rae.
When the “Unpretty Rapstar 2” staff tell Truedy, “Your voice sounds similar to Yoon Mi Rae’s,” Truedy laughs and says, “I get that a lot.”
Truedy says, “There are some aspects that are similar to Mi Rae unnie’s, but I have my own voice as well.” She then sheds tears as she says, “It’s good that I’m being told that I’m similar to the best, but I hope you won’t misunderstand.”
