Eun Ji Won Diagnosed With Pneumonia, Unable to Film

Eun Ji Won was unable to attend the filming of KBS 2TV’s Chuseok Special “National Idol Star Singing Contest” on September 11. He was supposed to be one of the judges, but was unable to participate due to the deterioration of his health condition.

He started coughing up blood on September 9 and received a complete physical to evaluate his health. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and is currently recuperating at home.

The singer’s representative comments, “We appreciate the show’s production team for their understanding about missing the filming yesterday. He’s coughing a lot less today and is doing much better. He’ll take some time off to get better and will focus on his new album.”

Eun Ji Won is also currently starring on “New Journey to the West” with his “1 Night 2 Days” co-stars Kang Ho Dong, Lee Seung Gi, and Lee Soo Geun.

The KBS 2TV’s Chuseok Special “Idol Star National Singing Contest” is an idol star version of the “National Singing Contest” with MC Song Hae joined by comedienne Jang Do Yeon.
