Yook Sungjae Prepares Something Squeal-Worthy for Joy's Coming-of-Age Day on "We Got Married"

On the September 12 episode of “We Got Married,” Yook Sungjae wanted to give something special to Joy for Coming-of-Age day.

During the show, he teases Joy for a kiss, saying, “How many presents do you get on Coming-of-Age day? There’s a rose, a perfume, and what else?”

Of course, Joy knows the answer but she keeps quiet. After receiving the rose, Joy says, “No, I am very touched by all this. Thank you,” and tries to change the subject by suggesting, “Are we going somewhere?”

During Yook Sungjae’s individual interview, he says, “I think she knows everything, but she also has that innocent side to her.”

In Joy’s interview, she says, “Of course I knew. I thought, ‘What is he doing? Is he really trying to [kiss] me right now?’ Don’t all girls [avoid the subject] because they’re nervous? Sometimes I get nervous and sometimes it makes my heart flutter.”

Yook Sungjae finally says, “It’s a kiss. I want to [kiss] you. You tell me you’ve gotten presents from other people, too, and it makes me want to [kiss] you more. I had a hard time preparing myself for this moment. I’m very shy and introverted and to tell you straightforwardly like this means that my heart is ready. I want to give my lips to you.”
