Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon Promise to Have Completely Different Chemistry in "She Was Pretty"

During the press conference of “She Was Pretty” on September 14, main stars Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon gave hints about their characters and how their images will be completely different from their previous drama “Kill Me Heal Me.”

Hwang Jung Eum stated, “I really like working with Park Seo Joon. When I was working with him in ‘Kill Me Heal Me,’ I got a sense that he is a fun and talented actor. I think he has stepped up his game now. His character is different. I thought to myself, ‘He’s one ambitious actor.’ When I look at Park Seo Joon, I just know that he is going to succeed.”

When asked about her previous image in “Kill Me Heal Me” possibly merging with this one, she clarified, “The two dramas are totally different. I don’t think that’ll ever happen. I coincidentally saw a clip of Park Seo Joon in ‘Kill Me Heal Me’ yesterday. I was so surprised because he’s so different now. [‘She Was Pretty’] is so different that it made me forget about ‘Kill Me Heal Me.'”

Park Seo Joon also added, “We play different roles and have a different relationship now, so I think the audience will slowly forget about our past roles when this drama airs.”

Meanwhile, “She Was Pretty” will air its first episode on September 16 at 10 p.m. KST.
