Joy Was Shocked When She Met Irene for the First Time Because...?

On September 15, Red Velvet paid a visit to MBC FM4U “Park Kyung Lim’s 2 O’Clock Date” radio station and complimented each other’s looks.

During the show, Joy said, “The first person I saw when I signed with my agency was Irene. She was so pretty that I was in shock. Afterwards, I told my mom, ‘I don’t think I can become a celebrity. I’m not confident enough.'”

Then MC Park Kyung Lim asks, “What did your mother say?” Joy replies, “She didn’t even care,” and laughs.

Later Seulgi also compliments her, saying, “I was also shocked because Irene is so pretty.”
