Yook Sungjae Takes Joy to a Nightclub to Celebrate Her Birthday on "We Got Married"
On the September 19 episode of “We Got Married,” Yook Sungjae prepares something very special for Joy‘s birthday.
In celebration of Joy reaching the legal age, the couple decides to head to a club.
When they are choosing outfits for each other to wear, Yook Sungjae doesn’t allow Joy to wear any revealing clothes. During Joy’s individual interview, she confesses, “[Him being protective of me] made me happy.”
When the club bouncers check their IDs, Yook Sungjae suggests, “Let’s show it to them like the scene from ‘My Sassy Girl,'” and confidently pulls out their cards.
When they enter their reserved room, Yook Sungjae covers Joy’s eyes and later says, “Happy birthday Joy,” revealing the room that he decorated himself.
“When did you prepare this?” Joy asks in awe. Thanks to Yook Sungjae’s sweet surprise, Joy enjoys her birthday by singing and dancing her night away.
